TU's Opera Outreach Ensemble presents this classic Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale in a delightful operatic version for children, youth and adults. The timeless tale teaches us to love who we are on the outside as much as what we are capable of on the inside. Our differences make us stronger together. The opera uses humor and audience interaction with several plot twists taken from other famous fairy tales. Hint - there's even a Big Bad Wolf! Composed by Andrew Duncan with libretto by Stephen Malone. The student show is presented fully staged with piano and is led by Professors Jessica Harika, Phillip Collister, and Ka Nyoung Yoo.
