She will discuss her most recent book: Shaping Visual Structures: The Art of Composition, Movement, and Space in Graphic Design (BIS Publishers, 2025), an approachable textbook for students and reference for professionals seeking to revisit or refine their fundamental design skills. She received her BFA and MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art and works both as a professional designer and as an instructor of graphic design.
